I was too young to do shit until 2016. Couldn't join the army cause of a surgery to fix my scoliosis. Nowhere near charismatic enough to be a politician. I did all I could by telling people close to me the horrors of shit happening in our government. I told everyone who would listen about PRISM, the PATRIOT act, the 2010 NDAA's indefinite detention provision. I did every damn thing I could to keep those close to me informed, then voted in every election since I became eligible to vote. I've written my house representative numerous times, but haven't bothered with my senators since I'm stuck in NY, and they value the city significantly more than me. Only thing more I can do is get involved with my local town hall, but I work nights and the monthly meetings overlap with my shift. What the fuck have you done?
Well all that's something. More than other's have done. Which is nothing.
As for my part? I was still a snot nosed twerp more concerned about the pimple on his ass and passing his calculus test to give so much as two tosses about politics.
