Well, Newsmax is still a small media fish in a large pond - and so things like death threats against anchor's families are more... persuasive, shall we say.
There's a difference between cucking out, and legitimately being got at - and I think Newsmax is the latter. The bigger questions are - who's doing the threatening, and where does the money lead?
I don't know for sure - but death threats are a time-tested way of coercing people. Whenever you see someone on "our" side suddenly flip and cuck out... I don't automatically assume their politics have done a complete 180, I just think they've been got at and told that unless they sing a different song, and fast - then their whole family could just die in a convenient accent...
Petty sure the behind the curtain players are threatening any dissident outlets into conceding... We all know Violence is coming, and when it starts we will be labeled as Terrorists. The internet and mass communications will be denied to us, our speech criminalized. They will put any commercial enterprise that contest the Legitimacy of the Election out of Business and people that express the belief in jail/prison..
