You’re not alone. I feel the same way and have gone through the same thing. God says that if you seek the truth wholeheartedly then you will find it. I try to hold on to that. I do believe The Bible is God’s word even if it has been written and tampered with by men. I don’t know if God will give us Trump on the 20th, but I do know He will give us unconditional love and grace. Good luck to you, pede. Just know I’m right there with you in the same walk of life.
Prayers for your journey and that the veil will be lifted. Question, have you checked out any books or series written by apologists? Understandably many people have questions regarding the "evidence" of Christ and other issues with faith. I can undoubtedly say that the evidence is overwhelming that Christ lived and walked on this earth and is who He says He is. It is refreshing to read books on apologetics bc they only helped strengthen and reaffirm my faith.
I suggest books by Lee Strobel i.e. "Case for Faith" and "Case for Christ." Also "Cold-Case Christianity" by J. Warner Wallace. Both were former aethists who took an analytical deep-dive into trying to prove evidence against Christ, but only ended up converting to Christianity due to the findings they write about.

Lots of hypocrites out there for sure, but there are some of us who are are or learning, trying to be real. My cousin that keeps telling me pretty much the same things that OP posted says it will get much, much worse. That is a given. Christians that hold strong to their faith will suffer greatly. Others will eventually give in so as not to suffer here on this earth.

I hope you are right. My fear is that if Trump loses, this will be the beginning of the end, the beginning of the completed foundation for the Global Power. Consider that if Trump loses, it won't be just half the US that will be pissed beyond belief; but there are countries all over the world that know what is as stake and will be pissed along with us. (You've seen them posting here.) A Trump loss will be a global loss for every human that believes in freedom and justice and basic human rights. If a large percentage of those people revolt, as they will here, I could see it escalating to massive destruction around the globe, even to the extent of further bio weapons and nuclear options. Then we would be talking Revelations and massive death. And if we are believing Christians, we must believe in Revelations. It may be another 20 years away or more I hope, but it feels like a path will be set if righteousness does not prevail one more time.

Amen. God is in control and He has the ultimate say on how this will play out. Just remember that in our prayers for Trump and his victory.... sometimes God says "no." He may say no to that promotion or a loved-one overcoming an illness or even for Trump to win this election. His wisdom is beyond our Earthly wisdom, so be prepared for how God answers these prayers as well.
My hope and prayers are for Trump to win and the fraud to be exposed so clearly that even the media can no longer deceive the populace. Also for encouragement for whatever happens down the road. But while Trump won and the fraud has been exposed... it is still being clouded in darkness.

What you are witnessing is people of the world with free will. They are not of the Father. God doesn't put the idea to molest children into the minds of man, man does that. It is his choice to act on that. Free will. It is also an aspect of free will to not fall to temptation, whatever the temptation may be. It is up to us to follow the will of God. How do we know the will of God. It is written in the bible. The laws of moses, proverbs, and the Gospel of Christ. There will be a point where God removes His grace (leaving man to his own choices) because He has had enough and has given us enough chance to right our wrongs against Him. He will not allow it any further. Think of it like a father allowing his children to grow as children. Eventually the children will turn to doing wrong and the father will put a stop to it. I had one ass whipping from my father that i never forgot. And i never did what earned it again.
My take on this has always been pretty simple, so you may take it for what you will. I don’t believe God delves much into our earthly issues. Maybe that’s the whole point of still keeping the faith when good people die and bad people get rewarded. If God snapped his fingers to make all the wrongs right again then I’m not sure if anyone would have much motivation to do good and be good people. I do believe in one final act of justice in the end, but in the meantime our freewill to do as we please will either help us or hurt us on both a personal and collective level. Someone will always win and someone will always lose as a result of someone else’s actions or your own actions. I think that’s the big picture and purpose of the freewill that I believe was given to us by God. You can either act or don’t act and there will always be cause and effect. That’s how I’ve always interpreted it. I do agree with you though. It feels like so much is at stake and I do wonder Where is God? Why won’t He stop this injustice and evil? I don’t know what’s to come and I won’t claim to. But I do have faith that the truth will win one way or the other.
I agree with much of what you say, very simply put, I believe that God is our father, he put us here, but it's up to us to do right or wrong. I also believe that God is here, with us, opening our eyes to this evil and injustice, he is working through us, it's up to us to heed or ignore the call of truth and goodness.
Very much agree with you as well. Plain Christianity and our faith and honor to God costs us nothing and asks nothing of us compared to other religious practices. Meaning we can still be shit people and still seek redemption if we want it. We don’t have to have special diets. We don’t have very specific special practices. We don’t automatically think other religions are our enemies, they are our lost brothers and sisters. That, to me, is a very big factor in why I choose God and the Christian faith over every other religion and what makes it true. Some people like to cry that organized religion is intended to control the people. I just don’t see how anyone can rise to that conclusion with the christian faith. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Good vs Evil.
In Jesus you are free and God watches every one of his children without cease - he has numbered the hairs on each of his children’s head, not counted.. but numbered - if you were to loose a hair he could tell you it was hair 112,123,111. He (God) thinks about his children so much so that if each thought was counted the for everyone of His children they would out number the amount of sand on the beaches. God cares for his children in such a way that you could never understand or fathom, He is the greatest phenomenon in all of existence.
He has not abandoned us, He has a very particular plan that is full of Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, but then comes the Justice, the Reckoning. Oh woe to those who do not turn from their ungodly ways, truely horrible and awesome will be the Day of the Lord. He first came as a suffering servant to heal and save and draw into the Father - the next time He comes will be in full Power and Glory and he will absolutely destroy all evil and those who hurt the innocent.
Man is evil, all man, not just some. It is not that the evil are special, it is that they keep getting deeper and deeper, slipping further and further... you are not that different from they. You have just been blessed to be in the position you are in, if you get angry and hate irrationally which we all do sometimes and you were in the wrong headspace at the right time in someone else’s shoes with a different upbringing- your momentary loss of control through imminent rage could lead you to murder someone - and once it happens you can’t take it back. Mostly they would feel horrible for what they have done (of course there are those who are different and completely gone). What the Sermon on the Mount illustrated in this instance that Moses handed down the physical laws, which can be followed by man, but they did and do convict people of their ungodliness; people such as Paul followed the law perfectly. Then in comes Jesus to teach that the law is spiritual - that to hate someone in your heart is murder - and what he is saying is that this hate in the heart is the seed to murder - if it is watered and fed it will eventually germinate or manifest into a horrible action that the one committing it would be horrified. Fact is these actions in relation to all the 10 commandments are being Restrained. We are all blessed at this moment as everything is being Restrained. If it weren’t and a time will come when the Great Restrainer will be removed and we will really see some horrible things happen and those committing such this will be shocked.
What I was trying to get across above is that wickedness stems from the heart and all men are wicked. Some are more inclined due to their personality - some are less inclined due to people praying for them and also due to literally repenting.
But as a note to the main message - yes the rebuilding of the church marks the beginning of the first half of Tribulation, but I firmly believe that the Rapture will take place any moment. That in the glistening of an eye Gods children will be caught up to meet with the Lord in the sky, this will mark the end of the Time of the Gentiles. Then at the end of the great tribulation the Lord will touch down on earth to save Israel from the armies of the world and show that they are his chosen people.
How do you be Gods Child? It is a free gift, you follow Jesus and believe on him that he is the Son of the Living God, that he died for your sins and rose again on the third day. I pray anyone that reads this whole passage will be given the gift of faith from the most high God that they can believe and be free. Call out to God, He will answer at the right time. His ways are perfect and without fault.
The best part is that once you believe in Jesus you can repent. Once you believe on him and repent you will be saved. The bible says that those who do this will be in both the hands of the Father and the hands of Jesus, that He will not loose any of those who the Father has given. This means that even though you will screw it up 7 times 70 he will not quit on you. You will be forever saved. What a miracle and a beautiful thing. I have been saved and every time I mess it up he is there to pick me up. We are all different and we all will make our own mistakes but if you love God earnestly there is nothing to fear.
All who call on Jesus will be saved.
There is a difference between inheritance and reward though. Which I will go through later. But basically all who call on Jesus will be saved. But not all who call on Him will receive an inheritance. Some will be saved but by fire and enter into heaven as a refugee in a sense with nothing. You can’t take anything to heaven but you can send it before hand through acts of the Holy Spirt and fruit bearing. Some would be shocked to learn that we will not all be equal in heaven that some will have inherited the Kingdom - for we can be heirs with Christ - If So Be That We Suffer With Him.
But I think we can all agree that just to enter heaven will be the most amazing wonderful thing in all existence and the rewards part is just extra and something to work towards while living on earth. It could happen in an instant - like the thief on the cross.
God created the entire universe in 6 days and it is absolutely stunning and beautiful and awe inspiring - and we are only seeing it in its fallen nature. Jesus went away and said I will go and prepare a place for you and I will take you and you will be with me.. He has been gone for about 2000 years now!! Imagine how wonderful and indescribable this place will be.
Come with us, Jesus love you and so do we. We want you in Gods family so bad and want to count you as royalty.
He, the Holy God, allows evil to be to show you that the world is truly fallen and humans die. Really, to show us we are not God and we are in need of a Savior. God knew nobody would ever be good enough to be able to stand before Him so He provided His Son who is the Savior who defeated sin and death, the only one who ever could. He took our place by taking our sin, dying on the cross, and then He rose again, defeating evil and death. He was the perfect sacrifice for us so that we could be with God for eternal life. All we do is accept the free gift of Jesus’ payment for our sin.

I estimate we are currently in the harlot world system. The harlot is an enemy of God that rules over mankind by getting them to take pleasure and grow rich off of her passionate immorality. As far as what use is Trump. A victory by him could buy the world some more time and it could give America a chance to die with its boots on down the road rather than grovel as a slave before this tyrannical depravity that is coming to enslave the world.

Never forget this world is only a battle, and God has already won the war. What I mean by that is that is he has offered us an everlasting covenant that triumphs over this earthly domain and all of the pain and suffering we endure. I understand the instinct to take direct action in this world against evil but I find myself tempering that righteous anger because I know in my heart that all of us need to guard our hearts to protect our souls. If we were to confront the entrenched corruption of this world head-on, I doubt many righteous would remain. You MISSED the point, no, it flew by you on gilded wings. Let me try it thus--once, long ago, the Romanish Church was the only one- they killed all the competition. Then came the Great Schism, the Reformation & the Protestant Religion, which is, of course the 'theologian illegitimate child' of the Romanish Church. The Romanish Church once ruled the world, set up or killed off Kings and Rulers, murdered thousands for unbelief, stifled medicine, science, and the arts-- keeping them ONLY for the use of the Church. With Martin Luther, the Papist Church lost ground. And because of Luther, knowledge began to be more open and secular, and nothing destroys a dictatorship like Knowledge. And that brings us to circa 2020 where X-tainy is an emasculated hulk of its former Evil and Glory. In all of this, 'god' did absolutely nothing about anything. Of course you can, and likely will, run [or write] mental circles about such rubbish as Free Will or other such things. It changes nothing, and that has been going on for a LONG TIME before thee or I got to earth.
