I always thought it was meant to describe the sheeps who buy into all the hysteria behind the virus. But when I typed the term in the search on Twatter, it was just a bunch of leftists using it to describe "right-wing conspiracy theorists" who think it's a hoax.

Is this another instance of the left hijacking our terms to describe them?

I first heard it march with the shutdowns. Straight out of the mouth of Karen's directed at people who questioned the legitimacy of their "science."

First I heard of it. I’ll be shamelessly stealing it.
