No. You don't get it. Rule 230 protects them from being sued/liable. I know you don't get this. It's obvious. Apparently, you're in good company. But Rule 230 prevents you from suing them for censoring you. Remove Rule 230, and you can sue them for censoring you. That's about as clear as I can make it.
I have read Rule 230. I know what it does and says. It protects platforms. Publishers can still be sued. Since those companies are curating their content, they are publishers under the rules. Thus, they should be legally liable for every criminal act committed on their sites. If they want to continue having platform protections, id the law is enforced, we should be able to sue them for censoring us. The issue here is it is not being enforced. You think we will have any more ability to sue them if 230 is removed? Nope. And in addition, without 230, any leftist yahoo can go onto this site, threaten a public figure, and the mods and owners of the site are criminally liable for it.
