I found the problem with your statement. Women's standards only go up, especially as they get older, whereas male standards are expected to not exist and we should be "happy" even if we get settled for and treated like trash.
There are all sorts of blatant issues the more you start heading down that particular rabbit hole and the "trans" part is just one side passage away from the utter shitstorm that has become of gender relations.
I said that because most women seem to have unrealistic expectations of the level of partner they can attract. It becomes about the sexiest looking and best lay and whether or not they're an asshole or even a good provider and whatnot isn't even a consideration, regardless how much they complain about it.
Even unattractive women expect to get with a hot guy, but if a guy so much as expresses any preference in women he's a misogynist.
But you also find when the chips are down many women will kind of settle for what seems like an awful guy just because that guy paid some attention to them and stroked their ego. Or the guy has money. For instance a number of years ago at the club I went to, for a while this skeevy black dude would show up about an hour before last call and go around and hit on every female that appeared to be single. It took him a couple months but eventually it worked, he landed a tall, plus sized but not particularly fat, white girl. They showed up a few times together as a couple, then I presume he knocked her up because neither has been seen since.
And for some men the woman just has to be willing to put out, to the point that it doesn't necessarily even have to actually be a woman so long as there's a place to stick it in. Thus another reason why M2F is more common.
