I didn’t grow up with it and never knew anyone growing up who did it. I just found out about it before last Christmas and it’s annoying having to move it around and I get criticized by my significant other if it isn’t creative enough. I didn’t realize it’s been around that long.
When we were kids they just sat on the mantle and we loved them. None of the pressure to move them around. Not sure that my mom would have done it. I feel for you, pede.
