This has probably occurred to others, but it just occurred to me and I find it troubling.

I'm paraphrasing, but the FBI within the last few years has said the number one threat to the country is homegrown terrorists, more specifically white supremacist extremists. My first thought was, "Bullshit. Way to create a Boogeyman." I think it is actually more sinister than that though.

Today in Oregon a number of Patriots refused to continue to passively accept unconstitutional lockdowns and the devastation they cause. They breached the state capitol building during a special session.

Twitter, along with the media, highlighted that there were far right activists along with Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer. As per usual, they flat out called all of them white supremacists. This has become a common thing to the point where we really can only laugh at what bullshit it is.

I thought that it was mostly about optics, and painting people on the right in a negative light. What they did differently this time, was they lumped in protesters of the lockdown as part of this supposed white supremacy group.

The FBI may have been setting the stage for quite some time now to begin facilitating crackdowns on these "White Supremacist Extremists" or "FAR Right Activists."

Law enforcement along with much of the left really might be laying the groundwork to conduct raids on anyone they deem undesirable or potentially problematic.

I know this is kind of conjecture, but I found it disconcerting and felt like putting it out there. The 6th can't come soon enough!
