The 2 party system was around pre 1776 of our Founding Fathers (Whigs vs Torries); and it's basically hidden deep within the bowels of the US Constitution like National Treasure-type redpills. If one party gets too weak, it's replaced; or if one gets too strong it splits in two (like biological cell divsion). There's many reasons for this, which today we might call neuroscience, and many other fields; of why and how people tend to see things differently, and how they react differently; and how these things can be taught/learned and change with age/wisdom/information/experience/

BTW unlike most here, I actually co-founded a "3rd Party" in college, we took half the seats our first time out. So if anyone has any clue about how much time, money, effort, leadership, training, etc it takes to build an organization and a politcal party; you'd realize it's a NO GO and rather foolish in this context here and now on a National Level.

There are, and have been three parties for a while: Democrats, Republicans (Swamp Republicans), Patriotic Republicans (the minority). The only reason Trump got anything done was because Swamp Republicans, often referred to as RINOs (which is ironic because they make up the majority of the party), knew they had to appease the Trump base.

Now that Trump is "out of the picture" it's corrupt business as usual. It's time to primary out or recall most Republicans. Even with Trump getting a second term in 2020, we cannot afford to allow these shitters to remain in office.
