If Sydney was a part of the Trump team she couldn't serve as SC. Maybe when they saw all of the election mess they were looking ahead and therefore made that statement. Trump needs to sign that paper and she's off to the races. No more foolishness with those machines.

Yeah.
She isn't officially part of the legal team because they get money from the RNC. Also, regardless of how worthless the DOJ is, Trump cannot be seen as undermining justice dept.
I'm sure they just talk about grandkids and stuff. Thats why she was there Friday and today.
Reality, Rudy is merely outlining a legal distinction. The WH unofficially supports anything she does. Whether it is in an official capacity at some point is a pretty good question.
