Once the bill hits his desk, he has 10 days (excluding Sundays) to sign or Veto and return. If he Vetoes the bill, then it can be overridden by a 2/3 vote...
Unless congress adjourns during the 10 days. Which they have to, on the 3rd. Then it's a dead bill.
