So in light of current events ive been doing some thinking. The powers that be are claiming a new, more transmissable strain of COVID which came about from a mutation is now running rampant across the UK, and European countries are shutting down air travel to stop it. I personally believe this is all lies, but i have a feeling where they are going with this. There are already calls to shut down air travel from the UK to the United States and if that happens it's not far fetched to think they'll shut it all down.
I'm not much of a betting man.... oh fuck that i love Vegas... lol. But i have this sinking feeling that this is all concocted in order to shut down air travel in the US just before the 6th of January in order to silence half the nation.
I'm always trying to think ahead much like GEOTUS, and while I pale in comparison... i ran this theory by a few friends and they think i may be onto something. I pray i'm wrong though.

Maybe international, but not domestic. Domestic is currently on the financial ropes, a shut down would be the death knell for the airlines.

Bought the insurance for our flight because I was thinking the same thing. Heading from the west coast and driving isn’t an option. Keeping fingers crossed they don’t!

I have a feeling they're going to do this specifically to prevent people from going to DC for the 6th. Which is the point i was trying to make.

If you’re plan to get to dc involves air travel and a hotel in the city you better make a back up plan. They will cancel your flight last minute and cancel your hotel reservations as well.
