America is waking up to the reality that it is time to withdraw our Consent. Without Our Consent, the "officials" have no right to govern and the "law enforcement" officers have no right to police. This is all clearly established in our Declaration of Independence, and codified in our Constitution.

A lot of cops abuse their power to move up in the ranks. There is also a large portion that are trying to keep their pensions. The cops are kinda hiring the worst people now. Individuals who have been walked all over their entire lives and now feel the need to flex on innocent people in order to feel some sort of dominance.
Unfortunately, the #Defund movement was ultimately about demoralizing the good cops so that they'd leave, and leaving a gapping hole to be filled by the desperate, who the Leftoonies would hire and mold into their "perfect" police officers...aka, American Gestapo
They do, unfortunately. The bureaucracy in the policing forces has been compromised at the upper levels by the same age-old mechanism that has turned Congress into the fetid pus pit that it is: money.

Their oath is to uphold the law, not interpret the law. That is the job of the courts. Politicians write the law.

The ability to issue them during a declared state of emergency was passed by the legislature. Most smart legislatures are passing new laws that require extended state of emergencies to be approved by the legislature.
