Not the worst idea. I think enough people simply ignoring them will work also. If people reject taxes and government as the cancerous mafia they are, then the scam ends pretty fast. But yeah I'm not against what you say because it's in self defense.

your employer has more liability taking money out of your check than they do for not complying with the communists

It's a joke. The company I used to work for complied happily with every mandate. Mandatory masks, excessive cleaning of "high touch surfaces" social distancing etc. Then the gov ordered them to close so they did. Then they reopened. And closed again. And again! And then they wonder why they're gonna go bankrupt. Stop fucking complying and trusting government! Fuck the lawyers, fight back!

taxes ensure the useless dollars they print and hand out to their friends retain their value - if you want to fuck the banks pay back your dollar debts and barter/save your wealth in hard assets
I know quite a few who won't be paying 2021 if certain events transpire.
