To the patriots who are able to make it to DC on the 6th, lets go over a scenario...
Lets say we do happen to surround the capitol building. It'll be armed to the teeth with secret service and perhaps military and snipers on the roofs. Armed patriots won't be able to get past certain check points unless we push our way through to get inside. That will certainly result in mass casualties. Not a good plan, it won't get us anywhere. The sad truth is that patriots won't win if we're up against a more armed and coordinated group. Plus, Trump will be in the building.
What we should do instead is to show them how angry we are. The best way to do that is to set up stages. By that I mean large displays around the capitol building with all their portraits and label them TRAITORS. We need to call out each representative and government agent who've turned on the American people. Shout out all the crimes that they've committed against us, our country and that they must be hanged for TREASON! This should send a profoundly clear message to them.
The portraits of representatives need to be large enough to see clearly but not too heavy to carry around. Perhaps 3'x4' or bigger. Poster size. If you can afford it, print out the portraits of each traitorous rep from your state. Do the same for government agents (like Gina Haspal, Christopher Wray, Chief Justice John Roberts, etc.) Make sure to put their name on it, the state or position then slap a big red TRAITOR tag above their head. Display it everywhere!
Speakerphones won't be loud enough. We need to actually set up a stage with good audio equipment. I'm not sure how viable this is near the capitol building though. Perhaps an alternative is to get a car with a really loud audio system that can be hooked up to a mic. If we can get several cars for this, that would be excellent.
The good thing about this is that we don't need a lot of organization to get this rolling, just a few people willing to bring equipment and posters. LETS DO THIS!!

Sounds like OP plan not only has no organizing structure but easily identifiable signs that gets everyone arrested for trying to murder members of congress. Sounds like a GLOWIE trying to shut the site down.

It's a peaceful protest without hurting anyone, just expressing our anger. People won't get arrested unless they start to get violent. It's not like we're burning or throwing things. That's the beauty of this idea. We don't need a whole lot of organization to get our point across clearly to the tyrants. The "watchers" here won't be able to identify who's going to bring stuff.
If you want to continue doing nothing and waiting for someone else to save your ass, then that's your choice. Save your low IQ comment for yourself, coward. Or you could come up with something better.
On a nicer note, being stupid isn't a bad thing. It makes you want to be smarter. Unlike school, life rewards those who acknowledges their weaknesses. Fill the gap if you wanna win the war.

Hang ropes on every lamppost up & down the roads leading to Capitol Hill. Maybe install a guillotine near the main entrance. Art exhibitions, kek.
Could also combine it with your idea: Stick a giant portrait of a congress member on the lamppost next to each one--One for every congress member (& other agents or known traitors). If they betray The People on Jan 6th (or already have prior), hang the portrait from the rope. That will send the message loud & clear to each & every one of them, reaching them individually & personally, without any patriot becoming a violent perpetrator.
Maybe that will finally jog their goddamned fuckin' noggins...
