I mean I guess he could do it for appearance... But if he successfully stalled this bill millions of people collecting UI (of which I know a few who are really close to me) would no longer have ANY income when they are already getting half what their factory that closed paid them.... Then when they start getting evicted and starving to death who do you think they will blame?? Just when he needs their support the most.... Government has passed a ton of shitty bills like this people are just now paying attention.... But right now is not the time to cut people off from money they need to survive...

Congress has a low approval rating yet the same cretins keep getting voted in. How does that work?

Right but what do you do when millions of people on UI stop getting any payment at all and there is no jobs around them and they don't have money to move.... Us in the deep country don't have a lot of options.. when our local factory goes down so does our town
