Republican Sens. John Thune, Roy Blunt, and Lindsey Graham have all indicated that they will not support the President on January 6. It's my personal opinion, that we should not let these jerks off the hook so easily. War dial them! Send them messages to let them know just how unpopular this has made them. Even if we could flip just one, it'll help.
Lindsay Graham is weak. He'll cave if he thinks his career is in jeopardy. Remember how he was crying and begging for donations before the election? Too much soy in his diet if you ask me.
Be aggressive. Be relentless. Pile on the public pressure. Show no mercy.
You all are obviously pissed that our self serving reps cuddle up before elections, then flip us off after they've secured another term, right?
Well, there is only one way to insure that this stops. Do I have your attention?
Here's how to MAKE our SERVANTS work for us, like they're supposed to.
Every state in the union needs to adopt a Constitutional amendment allowing for WeThePeople to recall any elected official, at any time during their term. Right now there are only 19 states that allow for recall. And, some of those only allow certain elected positions to be recalled.
Don't confuse impeachment with recall. Impeachment must be initiated and adjudicated by other elected swamp monsters. And, we all know how well the ruling class police themselves --- NOT. WeThePeople have no say in impeachment. Recall, quite to the contrary puts the power of controlling our elected directly into the hands of WeThePeople.
The following 19 states 'grant' recall authority. The other 38 do not care about that little thing known as the consent of the governed.
Alaska Arizona California (remember Grey Davis & Gov. Schwarzenneger?) Colorado D.C. Georgia Idaho Illinois Kansas Louisiana Michigan Minnesota Montana Nevada New Jersey North Dakota Oregon Rhode Island Washington Wisconsin
That would be a start for representatives.
For Senators - repeal the 17th Amendment. Make the Senators serve at the mercies of State Legislatures. After all, they were originally defined to be the ambassadors from each State, to represent each State's interest in federal matters.
Next - take the recent omnibus vote, and purge those voting in favor of it. Purge the lobbyists that wrote the bill (you only thought Congress wrote bills).
