That is referring specifically to the day and hour of Christs return only. Christ himself told us what the signs of the end times would be so that we could at least know that things are starting to happen and prepare our hearts and minds
EDIT: Also, early manuscripts dont say “nor the son himself” and i tend to agree as Christ as God would most certainly know that
The answer is yes. He is God but took the form of a man thus why he is described as a son of the Father in heaven. This is further understood by studying the Trinity.

This is the fundamental problem with Christianity. Is Jesus G*d or is Jesus the lords son?
I think I'll just stick with the older part myself.
