I don't understand why we are supposed to believe this guy. Am I missing something? Just stating he is a patriot who has been draining the swamp isn't good enough.

I think the biggest clue is how the media, the mainstream media that is, has relentlessly smeared the guy, when in fact before the big collapse of 2008 he helped expose massive corruption in the SEC and tried to prevent the big market crash. Some players in DC saw that his smarts, connections and charm could be useful in exposing corruption and tapped him to help out Hillary, but once again the deep state bit back hard and he was forced out of the company he founded. Why would a guy leave his billionaire lifestyle to fabricate a story that somehow interjects himself into a political conspiracy, that happens to line up with other stories?
