It isn't easy to find good help. The administrative state has intimidated, persecuted, and smeared anybody who would be loyal. I'd be surprised if Trump could find enough loyal and competent people, with the skills needed to do the job. This situation is showing more than any other as well. He doesn't have to be stupid to have these asshats make it this far. The only reason we know they are weasels is exactly as you say though, he outed them and hopefully he can find the people he needs for his second term. I don't think they will be able to stop him.
