My Mom Helps out with the the Saint Vincent De Paul Food-bank at her church, and she said 75% of these people showing up to get boxes and boxes of free food are driving up in new modern cars, have the latest & greatest Iphones, brand new hair weaves, etc. etc. etc.
The grand majority are worthless fucks that are professional parasites that hit every food bank in town and then turn around and sell the food, or stuff their own cubards so they can spend the money they would normally allocate to groceries on weaves, manicures, phones, car payment, etc...
Thanks for saying this. I was going to write that these food banks don't work the way people think they work, especially in CA.
They're basically illegal immigrant and drug user feeding troughs. These people already get more than adequate government aid, but they use this free food so that they can use the government cash for luxury items.
Get rid of this bullshit and the people who actually need the help probably wouldn't need the help in the first place.
I live in a small town, rural area. I can see the benefit of these food banks and they are not misused in my area. The negative I see is that people aren't using the whole box, especially the 'staples' that need cooked at home (dried beans/lentils, rice). They'll eat mostly the meat and cereal. Off topic, but, our food stamp system needs a major overhaul, along with the welfare program.
