Normal people cannot comprehend socialism... People must be touched, in order to become immunized.
Very true. Little known fact about Korean history: a lot of older South Koreans are super based, rabidly anticommunist.
Reason? Simple. During the Korean war, the North Koreans actually overran most of their country and forced the ROK forces into a pocket around Pusan, called the "Pusan perimeter". This period only lasted a few months of 1950, but during that time frame, A LOT OF SOUTH KOREANS ACTUALLY HAD TO LIVE UNDER COMMUNISM FOR REAL.
And what happened? Oh yeah. Mass arrests, purges, family members kidnapped and taken to slave camps in the North, never to be seen again. Iron controls over media. Economic collapse.
Guess what? The Koreans DIDN'T LIKE WHAT THEY SAW. They hated Communism so much they were literally willing to fight alongside the US in Vietnam just for the opportunity to kill more Communists.
This is alot of the problem we now have. Who are the most based groups in the US? People who actually experienced Communist rule for themselves. Cubans, Vietnamese, Koreans, Poles. Who are the groups who support Communism? A bunch of stupid white brats who believe whatever their brainwashed sociology TAs tell them.

I'm really, really encouraging people to listen to audiobook Gulag Archipelago. The whole book is some 5 days and nights long, but...
The first one hour is enough
