Yup, common access is a bitch for security. Good strategy to be sure but typically risky because you probably don’t have a good profile on the rando and they could be a secret badass.
I’m far from a badass, but I am aware of this fact, so when I get fucked with I step back square up, and wait for the fucker to also square up. I then turn around and run as fast as I can (which I had actually been prepping for) because concrete is an unforgiving bitch, and I do cardio.
