Our government is out of control. I don't know if convention of states is the answer but something needs done. We need term limits on congress, obviously they aren't going to do it themselves. Congress needs specific requirements of duties (set # of days in session with mandatory attendance, public meeting requirement on issues before congress etc). We need the ability to "fire" congressman not meeting their responsibility to represent the people. And for gods sake, no politician should be able to set their own salary. Im sure more actions need taken but that what comes to my mind
