If he holds out the entire ten days, they can't leave or disband. If they disband before that 10 days, it's a pocket veto. So I say force them to stay over Christmas.

Veto-proof is something of a misnomer - it means that if the same members who voted in support of the bill voted to over-power a Presidential veto that they would succeed... but they have to have a second vote to overcome the veto and there are usually members who change their mind in the face of a veto.
Also literally zero constituents knew what was in the bill at the time of passing, so voting YEA a second time won't be as easy to explain to voters
This is why you gotta call them and let them know how you feel about their vote. If they voted yes, pour hellfire in their shorts about it. If they voted no, call to extend your thanks and support, and ask them to help whip other members in favor of the veto!

They are two separate bills
We can demand our representatives meet with us and tell them exactly what will happen if they continue. If they refuse the meeting we get our state legislators to put an emergency bill to revoke their seats and have our governors replace them.
