All I wanted to do was go down to my city hall, pay my taxes, and get a receipt.

They are not allowing the public in because of some imaginary health crisis and I can just mail it in.
When I insisted on being allowed in and kept knocking on the door, they called the police and was told I was to either leave or be arrested for disorderly conduct.
When I told them that I am exercising my constitutional right to protest, they told me I had to get a permit. Who the F get's a permit to protest.
Aggggg.
Did all of the BLM BS that came through my neighborhood at 9pm get a permit to protest?

An F'ed up follow up:
Called the village to complain. Apparently, if you call ahead you can make an appointment and go right in.
So I made an appointment, went right in, when I got there, I knocked on the door (as instructed) and waited for them to come out. When she came out, I asked if she could help the 4 other people trying to fill out these new forms. On the spot, she didn't have the courage to say no, so she took all of our taxes and went to get receipts.
By the time she came back with them, there were 3 more people there ready to pay and waiting for her to return.
F'them.
Now everyone still gets to pay their taxes, BUT, they now also see the petty tyrants that run this village.
It's time to take our country back.
Even if we have to do this one village at a time.
Sorry but why are you getting in line and fighting to pay your taxes and calling it a win?? You're doing exactly what they want. You're giving them your money so they can send it back to foreign countries and pay off their mansions while our economy crumbles.
