Page 136 of the COVID relief bill includes $25,000,000 for cleaning supplies for the capitol building

that can get you 3,059,975 gallons of lysol

an olympic sized swimming pool is about 660,000 gallons

They can buy 4 and a half olympic sized swimming pools of lysol with that

have you seen the size of the capitol building? Just the parts we can see (and there are many we can't) are huge. But it still seems excessive, depending on the types of cleaners involved. many will not be your standard lysol, nor as cheap due to the materials used in construction.

I would rather see them spend money repairing parts of the building that have notably deteriorated, along with other buildings. But it is a step up from funding intersectional comparative underwater basket weaving studies for furries or something equally asinine.

Yep. But ostensibly, that is to help provide equal educational opportunities and health care for women. Naturally, it is just sucked up by the Pakistani government and does nobody any good. We used to send that money through USAID bills, and probably do, with the same lack of result.

As you know, this is very important for COVID relief.

Well of course. We must protect the congress critters from the 83 squillion highly lethal strains that are about to be discovered.
