But wouldn't they have continued selling this item number '902780' in 2020? This makes me think an intern updated the wrong item description earlier this year as the covid-19 stuff instead of the actual covid-19 stuff.

Yeah, right here, this is listed on the Covid-19 related items page. Some noob data-entry clerk updated the medical supplies as covid-19 supplies when they're generic swabs and bottles and generic testing stations used in conjunction with testing:
