The purpose of the 2nd amendment is to counter tyranny with armed revolution. Outlawing the 2nd amendment in DC makes armed revolution difficult to impossible. It doesnt matter that you can open carry an AR in some rural county in the middle of nowhere when you can't open carry outside congress.
The point is, that when it matters, whatever anti 2nd amendment laws DC has won't matter. I was getting at that most of the country doesn't care what the laws are in DC because it doesn't affect us. But now that we have to march on DC, the laws they have on the books are moot.
Revolutions don't start by following the laws of the district lol.
