Any and all laws should have a page limit that allows them to be readable by all of the people who would vote on the bill. How are you supposed to vote on anything that you can't even read? Any you should also make sure that it's specified as legal document page size and 12 point font minimum with single spacing and 1" margins.

This 5,500 page Covid relief bill is not the first time we've seen endless amounts of garbage make their way into US law. This is a serious abuse of process that needs to be fixed.

Better idea: No pork allowed. All bills are stand-alone.

Additionally: a minimum time alloted per page. And a requirement that all parties voting must read it.

No bill to be put forth for a vote without having been vetted in some sort of civilian oversight committee. And no money to any foreign country to be included in any other spending bill. All kept seperate.
