I realize not everyone here is religious, but for those who are or find it within themselves to do so, please pray for Pence and for God to give him the strength he needs to make the right decision for our country.
His career and even his life may be compromised, but if so we will never forget his sacrifice.

Totally agree. Nobody expects everyone to have all the answers right away. It took me a long time to come to faith, and was in spite of the fact that I grew up in a conservative Christian family.
