LARPing deterrence doesn't fucking work. Are you retarded, or have you missed the entire last few years of armed demonstrations around the country?

That's how we let things get so far. The only language politicians understand is violence.

Being the Silent Majority didn't work. We must now become the Violent Majority.

Completely missed the point.

He's not saying violence isn't the answer. He's saying violence in broadlight is a bad idea.

Antifa knows this. Guess when most of their violence happens? Under the cover of darkness.

I'll admit that's been all I think about lately lying awake at night. Their tactics work for sure.

But our cause is legitimate and righteous, and it irks me to think we'll have to creep in the shadows against these fucking over commies.

BINGO!!

Fight to win - not to fight

Right - which is why - if you have given up on deterrence based interventions - showing up and trying to do use of force based interventions with DC as a starting point is like being a fish in a barrel.

Think like a guerrilla instead of a musketeer

Go there to protest - but fighting from there would be fucking retarded

Someone has to light this fucking fuse. If not now, when?

If not at the Capitol, where?

We are already decades late to start this fight, and Trump is your last chance for peace.

Inaction has allowed Chinese assets to take over our entire federal government other than the presidency.

Just don’t start your adavance from the downhill advantage.

DC is a nest of CCP loyalists. It’s 15-25 years in prison JUST for showing up ARMED.

Why not muster your forces somewhere where they aren’t in legal jeopardy just for showing up?

DC is a terrible place to fight where even being armed means the rules of engagement favor the opponent with the laws of war.

Texas would be a much better place to muster. Remember that after the Rubicon was crossed they did NOT actually march into Rome. They bypassed it for the surrounding cities and gained support.

DC is a black hole for use of force operations.

I can agree with that in theory. We will see if they stop us from getting into DC armed. A bulldozer to push across the bridge and clear any police blockade would send a powerful message. Oh Marvin Killdozer you were ahead of your time, we need you now.

I’m granting you automatic 5 points for badassness even through you’re countering me :)

I like the way you think.

Look at history: American revolution was won with guerrilla tactics and not a battlefield brawl in an open field in day light.

Well if its a demonstration then the people you are trying to convince really won't care.

You dumb cuck. Water is wet. Night is dark. Day is bright. And...

Violence is the Supreme Authority From Which All Other Authority is Derived.

Jesus - I’m gonna assume you considered this a TLTR?

I’m not arguing against fighting.

I’m saying go to DC to demonstrate because it’s a dumbass place to mount an assault with overly extended lines of operation and effort. After you use up your combat load in about 25 minutes where would your resupply come from? Little birds? Oh yeah....

You know why you form up your forces ON a base instead of ON target?

If you want to go lose then knock it out - otherwise get your emotions in-check and fight smart.

Unsupported infantry most of whom are days away from their home base will be quickly routed if not arrested as they trickle in

Personally I think more demonstrations are a waste of fucking time

Still predicting it's going to be a victory celebration.

Are you suggesting that football game flyovers are meant to intimidate the crowd in attendance, or...?

2
Counterforce1 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually - yes. It’s meant to inspire awe/ fear

All demonstrations are based on this concept and it’s why the military spend the jet fuel - not to be cool.

If you are demonstrating you reveal your position and show off your power

If you are fighting then the enemy never even sees the plane :)

You are the plane :)

Seems like an unlikely reach to me. Seems more like it's meant to inspire pride, patriotism, and reinforce voter support for military spending, especially given how they tend to accompany national anthem performances at said games.

Shots across the bow are demonstrations of force. Not unarmed sporting event flyovers that accompany patriotic performances and don't actually demonstrate any tactical ability.
