I bet that was an experience to grow up in Japan. I was there back in '03 for work and for the most part did not feel very welcomed. Seeing large crowds now marching for President Trump is honestly blowing my mind.
Mid to late sixties, but born there - lived there until age 2 then age 5 to 8 - almost 9.

We traveled alot, the school took us on field trips. Great childhood. Loved it all.
