I completely understand. I told my husband I'd like to go to the Jan 6 Trump rally and he flat out refuses to accompany me. You would have thought I told him I wanted to climb the highest mountain; nude! We've been together over 20 years and I never figured he was a marxist at heart. He is wicked intelligent and knows his way around D.C., and yet, he didn't vote - "I don't want the censor people to know where I live"; and prefers Biden because he'll get socialized/medicare benefits earlier.
I stopped sending him evidence of the steal, covid19 debunking articles, and vaccine warnings because he doesn't appreciate the truth. We watch different news affiliates because I refuse to watch Fox.
So, what do we do to keep the peace? Answer: pray they'll wake up and see the light. And if not, love them anyway. Good luck
