you can bet your last dollar, that if this had happened to obama in 2012, all machines would have been collected by the dems on nov 4!!! we continue to keep the gloves on and this, i feel, is strongly the fault of his weak and/or deep state plant advisers. i do pray he isn't counting on the senate jan 6th. that's a fool's gambit with mcconnell and co.

Question: can the President seize the voting machines? If they were owned by the Federal Government I would say certainly. But these are owned by the state or county. I'm not saying he should not have been more aggressive but I also don't think they could impound voting machines unless they were Federal property (unless there was a court order).

I think if you sent in the National Guard and took them, then yea. If the states complained, tell them to go to court.

In states with Republican governors (except Georgia) the governor could do that. Ultimately the President can. There was a case where a governor would not send his state's national guard to Vietnam on the President's orders. The governor lost in the Supreme Court.
