Amen Fren! :) But remember: you’ll meet lots of people with more money than they could ever spend who are miserable ... and you’ll meet people with very little who are very happy.
Amen. I have a buddy who makes a ridiculous amount of money but he’s always chasing the next big thing because he is trying to compete with his millionaire cousin. I’ve never seen someone buy an 80k and get bored of it in a month. His wife complains about life too and their kids are a burden.
I have other friends who are just skating on by. They don’t have much but their marriage is strong and their child loves them.
I’m somewhere in the middle and am grateful for what I have.
Yup! You said it perfectly. I see so much judgement both ways but money is not the answer and is actually a cliché distraction from, for lack of a better word ...joy. :) imho
Eh, it's more as a percentage of your income (or the "company" covers it). If it's less than a days wages then dining somewhere like this (usually rated somewhere in the top 10 globally) for special occasions makes sense.

That’s huge! Most people owe a lot. You’re ahead of the game
If u spend this much on food ur an idiot

The lobbyists pick up the tab.

a penny saved is a penny earned.
Wasted money is wasted no matter how rich you are. If I burn a $100 bill and Bill Gates burns a $100 bill, we both wasted $100. It just hurt me more
Tip included! But they take a $1,500 deposit at seating. Classy! Can’t trust those commies. Ha.
I believe the deposit is non-refundable and taken at reservation, but it's been a while since I looked into it.
For $2800, the sever better be blowing me under the table while I eat, LOL.
I used to want to work there so badly. Now I could honestly care less. Guess I've changed alot because the cost of that one meal is vulgar.
Pay that much, what a fool.
I’d rather eat at Skyway Jack’s diner, circa 1984
