not a red flag. This was the whole point of the bill. They made it out to be such utter trash that he would veto it on the spot. All the other garbage was just cover so no one would notice the one point.

From what Lin Wood says, I'm not sure that power can be taken away in a Bill like this, but just having it in there is like getting caught red-handed.

Exactly, but now Congress has to sit there for the next two weeks and let Trump embarrass them and anger the normies with the crazy bill they voted for.

The bill itself might as well be a giant red flag based on who's writing it.

K Street lobbyists write all these bills, its how no one knows what the fuck is actually in them and why they are so big.

Yup we need the firm names and people names of folks who work at these k street firms writing all the bills.

This isn't from the COVID bill. It's a House-proposed amendment that was voted on back in July.

It would require Congress approval before the president could invoke the Insurrection Act.

Still incredibly concerning regardless, but the tweet is misleading IMO.

Yea not sure why the Tweet says it's from the COVID relief package. It's not in there at all.

Too much fake news getting promoted on TDW these days. Can’t help but think CCP troll farm is on here amplifying the noise to drown out the signal.

I saw the discussion in July, but they approved an amendment to something... very confusing and I cannot tell if the Insurrection Act has been amended or not.
