I say we ammend the constitution to require honorable discharge from military service to earn the right to vote.

In fairness, there are many, many good Service Personnel who did not get an Honorable Discharge, but Served none the less. You'd be surprised what power a Company Commander or a Battalion Commander has to get someone kicked out. Or how Ranking Officers can have it in for someone, resulting in a Discharge. If you've Served, you'll know what I'm saying. I've seen some incredibly unfair shit go down.

Can confirm. I've seen it happen. Good people trying to do their jobs end up inadvertently making their superiors look bad and they pay the price for doing the right thing.

Hell, it almost happened to me for saving somebody's life who was trying to commit suicide because it ended up exposing fraternization between a ring knocker and an E-2.
