He'd kinda have to be a masochist to deliberately stab Trump in the back. Rn half of the country hates him and will still hate him regardless of what he does but a good way to get another 70m people to hate you would be to not follow the constitution in this case and stab his entire support base in the back. His political career/life would be over. With that being said I wouldn't put it past him to do that bc this world is not logical.
