Don't let it affect your family. They may be treasonous bastards but family is important. Keep plugging away even though their hearts are too hardened. There's plenty of other treasonous bastards in this country to focus your hate on.

Edit: easier said than done after reading some comments to this post. Family is still more important than politics but sometimes politics isn't politics anymore. I would recommend giving some ease to family but sometimes you've gotta do what's right and cut off people who are cancerous
