I once spent some time in a pretrial felony pod. Never convicted. Its not something I take pride in but there was a moment of pride in there.

A guy was brought into the Pod and the guard of all people looked at everyone and said "ya'll be sure to check his papers" which is something they never said.

Your papers are basically the charges against you. This guy had raped his underage niece repeatedly for years.

In less then 10 minutes our self segregating pod had formed a committee, nominated 2 black dudes, 2 white dudes, and a mexican dude to whoop his ass while the rest of the pod formed up to block the cameras and slap wet toilet paper over the comms.

Even though the walkway glass is tinted you can still kinda see the guards behind it. Fairly certain every guard on shift was up there watching us beat his ass.

Normally the guards are pretty quick to stop a fight and lockdown a pod. Seemed like we had as much time as we needed.

The Pod did get locked down for the rest of the night but for some reason we had extra portions of breakfast and unscheduled gym time the next day.

Morale of the story, regardless of color, creed, or criminality most men will put aside their differences to handle the kid touchers.

So you were never convicted... But that guy? Definitely guilty.

I said I was never convicted, never said anything about being innocent.

There's always specificity in charges. Charge counts in the hundreds, key word "years of abuse", a guard specifically calling the prisoner out.

Stick around kid, I'll learn you a thing or too. I assume your a kid just from scanning a few pages of your posts. Can't remember the last time my friends disowned me after discussing politics playing playstation.

so he was convicted in pretrial by the guards and sentenced by his fellow inmates. what happened to the guy after all this?

Seth Rich was killed with a gun stolen from a cop car. Unless the dude himself was talking about it, it's not outrageous to assume that the guards are lying. Depending on the location, the cops can be run by organized crime themselves.

Let me guess. The guys who did the dirty work got upscaled charges?
