The original definition of natural born, when the constitution was written, is a child born on the soil to citizen parents (plural). And that was clarified in a later SCOTUS decision back around 100 years ago or more as well, our founders wanted anyone in the oval office to have had 2 citizen parents to minimize the potential of foreign influence. Last I checked his dad was not a citizen, was a British subject IIRC.
I stick with original interpretations, since the founders were damned smart.
