I watched the series about this, The Vow. It really struck me how these people were typical leftists - believing that they know how best to run the world, that they’re somehow more evolved than the average Joe. Endless introspection and reflection, plus the weird fact that they filmed EVERYTHING because they thought future historians would want to witness what they were doing because they were all so stunning and brave. So ngl, I really enjoyed seeing them get slapped in the face by reality.
