A fast trick the devil played was that the word ‘meek’ meant ‘weak’. It means quite the opposite. “Woe betide the innocuous fool that doesn’t think I won’t curb stomp him into the ground at the threat of my own family and faith.”

Except this needs to be translated from hebrew not greek. So it is slightly different. It means Mild of temper. So it's a tool to use so that you are not easily provoked or irritated. Your responses should be measured and appropriate.

So in other words, don't be a dick. But don't take shit either.
