Then real men, if you will, have other things like family and jobs to attend to, so these filthy basement dwelling "sweats" like to show how "dominant" they are in game, as some sort of larp. I'll hop on from time to time, to stay somewhat competitive for it to be enjoyable. Winning is fun, GG and all that shit, but nothing makes it more enjoyable than having a tryhard on a team that likes to talk major shit about teammates and me intentionally throwing matches
or sabotaging that player just to piss that teammate off. I don't know what kind of videogame sociopathy that is, but I almost feel bad for playing just to have those encounters.
I wouldn't even say most, it's just the people that have gaming as their only defining character trait that stand out, and make the gamers who are also functioning members of society look bad.
