Is the memo real? It’s a game changer if it is.

OrangeElvis 25 points ago +25 / -0

I do not know. I hope so. Seems easy to find out - except I am playing in bed when I should be asleep, lol.

Cuz99 15 points ago +15 / -0

To me it seems odd. Basically any outgoing VP can simply do this if his side didn’t win. He could just make up some BS about the states he needs to win. Obviously this year is different with all the cheating but seems too easy. We shall see. If it’s possible he needs to do it. Fuck them.

28
OrangeElvis 28 points ago +28 / -0

Well, considering for the first time in over 125 yrs states have sent multiple electors... I do not see a big stretch of the VP refusing all of them - keeping either candidate from reaching 270.

None of them are official until accepted by Congress. Pence has the authority and obligation to not accept them as the states are contested.

100% supported by the Constitution. Sorry, doomer.

NOT official until Congress counts the votes. Without a majority, no candidate can be declared the winner.

11
snoopy3210 11 points ago +11 / -0

Not true. Especially since the state officials used coercion to certify it. Coercion gives Pence the right to reject their certification.

First of all, if a VP did that without good reason they would just be impeached. They are still held accountable to the people. Second, if he does this to change the outcome, it just goes to the house to vote by state delegation as no candidate would have 270. So again, it goes to the representatives to make the call and isn't just in the hands of one person with no accountability or checks and balances. This seems like another safeguard intended for extreme circumstances like we find ourselves in today. They have broken through many layers of protections already, let's see if they can break through them all or if we will hold the line.

No, you MUST have grounds to do this. Simply claiming fraud will not let you be able to do this. Fraud nullifies everything and we've demenstrated a litany of it, we've pulled out all the stops. It was a great performance, let's see him follow through. The only man I trust right now is Trump, until I see action, not words, from Pence.

We're gonna need some more energy from you Bo.

1
russianbot4673 1 point ago +1 / -0

so you're one of those people who thinks hoping and wishing makes a difference what other people with power and authority do? i see.

it's kind of sick how you people have called people "doomers" left and right when we tried to warn you that this or that kraken or MOAB or court case wouldn't give us a win, and time and time again we turned out to be correct and you idiots turned out to be wrong. you seem to think your feelings affect outcomes and time and time again you never learn.

1
BofaDeez 1 point ago +1 / -0

Never have I used that term but feel free to think as you will. I take these news with a grain of salt but don't automatically rule them invalid. Seems as though you have a problem with my level of optimism and that's your own problem.

2
russianbot4673 2 points ago +2 / -0

clowns here have had 'optimism' in judges doing the right thing and called people who said they wouldn't "doomers" for over a month. your optimism didn't change anything and us "doomers" were correct.

same thing for krakens, for all the MOABs the turned out to be nothing burgers, for rinos on the federal and state level, who did nothing actually important to help trump. your feelings did nothing to affect change. your feelings did not get those people to do the right thing. your feelings do nothing. this is the real world we live in, and it's run by shitrats.

pence isn't one of them, but the idea that he can just single handedly wave a magic wand and make sure trump stays in office is just more wishful thinking.

Everyone's like, "why did he wait 4 years to show this energy?"

He didn't. He always had this energy. He's the silver fox. The fox doesn't just bum rush into danger. That's what the Lion does; that's what Trump does.

The fox is cunning. The fox has strategies. The plans its course of attack. But once the fox starts to bare its fangs, and growl at you. That's when you realize, its too late, and you've already lost.

Pence does not get enough love. This guy has been solid throughout, even when it would have been easy for him to turn on the President

15
ChinaVirusBigly 15 points ago +15 / -0

No doubt he probably had offers of hundreds of millions to stab Trump in the back, and has had his family safety threatened constantly. A true man of God staying loyal to the President who trusted him to the fullest.

Bernie would have conceded Nov 7th while they were still finding votes for Biden, and bought his next additional vacation home by now.

5
Jebs_guac_recipe 5 points ago +5 / -0

Remember when the hollywood asses tape came out and the GOP ran away from Trump & diverted funds to the downballot candidates instead of Trump, yet Pence didn't waver at all despite all the suggestions he would quit the ballot?

Truth be told he was a negotiating chip for Trump to be accepted to be the nominee.

Pence also received one of the famous envelopes at HW's funeral. He was in the club and potentially even an insurance plan.

I love how Pence has backed our GEOTUS, but truth be told his place in the establishment could have been really bad for us. I do believe he has seen the light and can be trusted now, but it's important we remain cautious with anybody other than the man himself.

The reason is because some of Pence's staff picks turned out to be major deep staters that caused problems in the administration.

But its hard to blame Pence for that because 90% of Trump's picks also turned out to be major deep staters as well.

11
ChinaVirusBigly 11 points ago +11 / -0

In every position of power you'd be called a fool to not rely on the people around you who you appoint and trust to handle their shit. Trump learned this in the private sector, you have to do your best to determine the most loyal capable option and then just let them do their job.

Both Trump and Pence can't be everywhere at once it's simply not possible you have to trust your people. Ultimately yes many of their appointments failed but they had no other option, it's not their fault that snakes and lobbyists are seducing every single staffer with bribes or threats as soon as they are even indirectly connected to Trump.

This isn't the Mafia you can't just have a blood oath and murder anyone disloyal, if someone is disloyal the best they can do is fire them after the damage is already done. If we were a dictatorship of course they could murder or lockup anyone who flips, but that's literally the only way to avoid deep staters you'd have to go full authoritarian and that's not the country we live in. Unfortunately these staffers have freedom to turn on our President and there's not much you can do after the fact. I do think many were loyal initially then the deep state compromises them and they're fucked.

2
neverreddit 2 points ago +2 / -0

If Pence pulls this off then there’s no other choice for 2024. His redemption arc will be complete and he will be able to institutionalize MAGA in a way that a firebrand revolutionary like Trump can’t. Trump job is to define the movement, Pence’s will be to make it permanent.

2

Can the platform for 2021-2024 be Nuremberg trials for all the mobs, fake cops, fake politicians, and discount terrorists we all seen 2020?

2
800080 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pence is properly motivated.

Pence has upsides.

If Trump prevails against the fraud, Pence is VP 2021-2025 and has a good shot at the title in 2024, maybe with DJTJr as VP on the ticket.

If the fraud holds, but there's a miracle and we have a clean election again, Trump could come back in 2024 with Pence, but leaving Pence without the title shot until 2028. If elections as we thought we knew them are over, then nobody has a shot.

On downside, if Pence turned on Trump and got caught, his political life is completely over. The Republicans won't have him and he's too conservative for the Democrats. Everyone hates a traitor so a book deal is probably not in the cards.

The motivations of Congresscritters should be concerning.

The Republicans will gain one thing from Trump in the Oval for another 4 years, but can use 2 or 4 years of a Biden/Harris conspiracy to cry "Poor Me" with regard to party fund raising, not having to get anything done "Because Biden", 'We need your help to get them next time" and so forth.

The fact that he and Trump both did events for turning point usa scares me. I hate neocons. Charlie kirk is a liberal, posing as a staunch conservative. He'd sell us out faster than shapiro.

4
Kingoftheroad 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm not sure about the faster than Shapiro part but I kind of agree based on a lot of things that he's exposed about his views...but there is still a need to muster as much support as possible. It would be a bad time to turn on and push out anyone. We need as many people in D.C. on the 6th as we can get and we need as many people as possible spreading the truth about the election.
