Want to criticize Trump for the same thing? This is a prime example of all our spending bills, of which Trump has signed before. You have to remember not to throw them out with the bathwater just because you don't like one bill they begrudgingly supported. Hawley wants people who's lives are being ruined to get money back in their pockets. He wanted more and got fucked over by the other RINO's. He just went for what he figured he could get. I was probably the first person to contact him and let him know I didn't like him supporting this bill, but I'm not so emotional I'm going to pretend he is a newly crowned CCP agent or a swamp monster when he has been open about his position on all this the whole time.
Name a perfect politician while you're at it. I didn't pay too much attention to that bill so I'm not about to defend it, the same as I'm not defending this bill as a good choice either. If you don't like it fuckin call him like I did and let him know. I don't see you asking why he has backed up Trump's agenda a massive portion of the time though. I believe he is rated at voting with Trump about 87% of the time. I'm not saying he is perfect, and implying he is is or should be perfect is childish logic. These people get informstion on bills pushed to them by outside forces, so there is a heavy burden on us to inform our reps, otherwise they can be misled. I'm doing my part for a guy that has ,on the vast majority of proposed bills, voted appropriately.
If I'd have the responsibility to make laws, I not only want to know exactly I'd pass, but wanted to know all the possibilities of abuse and exceptions. Hell, I may need hours for just a few laws, and then propose improvements.
These clowns just passed FIVE-FUCKING-THOUSAND pages of unknown garbage, which makes it OBVIOUS there was INSANE bullshit going on. Nobody in their right mind would give a "yes" to that.
It's insurmountable incompetence the very least, treason at worst.
anyone who voted for even 1% of the disgusting traitorous america last policy in this bill under the pretense that "it's okay to flush tax payer money down the toilet in this fashion because the $600 makes it worth it!" is a sellout and should be tried for treason.
Well, when you suggest trying trump for treason, you'll get that response. He has signed onto wasteful spending bills before. It happens when you need to get your agenda done, and you work to change it next time, that's what we are seeing with his veto. Hawley very obviously thought this was his only chance to get a stimulus to people, faggot.
not a single one of these mo'fritters would, if presented with an inch thick contract, told they had 20 minutes to read it, then had to sign to commit to the terms of the contract, sign said contract. why did only SIX senators say NO! all that fucking virtue signaling on twatter, "it's 5000 pages and we've only got 3 hours to read it, wah!"....and not a one of them said, "no! this isn't right!"
Why do they all criticize a bill they voted YES on? They act like they had a gun to their head or the voting options changed to KINDA YES/DEFINITELY YES, wtf happened to voting NO?
Absolutely not true... McCass. voted for every damn dumocrat agenda that was brought to her, and lied through her teeth when back in Missouri. Hawley has stood out and fought nearly constantly against the dems agendas, stood up to the GOP in the senate and calls the dems/rinos out at every chance- in a few short years he has measured up well beyond the other MO gop senator Blunt (who is indeed a rino). Do we just throw them all out because we disagree on an issue? If we do- there's nothing left- even here. Let's see what he does in a few weeks... He's one of the few I'll give some credibility to.
I am incredibly disappointed in many of the items in the Covid relief bill. Did you read a bill that’s four or five times longer than the Bible? How did you conclude this was a bill you could stand behind?
I’m even more disappointed that all my representatives from my great state of Missouri jumped on board. Do you have a plan to remove the wool from your eyes?
I keep expecting these republicans that voted for this to come out and apologize and take a stand against it...getting pretty blue over here holding my breath, my vision is getting blurry to the point I can't make out my double crossed fingers in front of my face.
I used to be on the fence about this issue with a lot of my favorite senators and congressmen but fuck it, if you voted yes you're not only stupid, you're corrupt
Pretty shitty shill if all I'm pushing is reality. I guess your goldfish attention span forgot that he was front page here literally yesterday or monday for demanding 1200 for stimulus checks, just to get shot down by the establishment, all the while pointing out how working people needed the money urgently, blasting these RINO's and commies for the pork they were pushing. He took what he could get. Bad decision, but that's all it was.
I didn't say I was on the front page. Hawley was. Guess reading comprehension isn't mandatory in your industry. I don't like bailouts anymore than you, nor do I want or need them personally (I didn't accept the last one). Hawley is there to try and assist the working class when their government is trying to destroy them financially. This is the best he feels he can do as a single senator. Also, try to remember, this is a Trump rally, and Trump is currently calling for larger handouts than Hawley did. The handouts are a bandaid, and both men admit that. Get your head out of your ass, goldfish.
I sent an email to my rep and let him know that we dont want anymore limp wristed tactics. We want Fighters. This generation is different than before. I told my rep my parents have been republicans my whole life. I also will never vote for the rep myself again and I let him know that. Fuckin pork eater
The politics of voting on these bills is a little more complex than most here realize.
The bill is garbage and the system is a joke - that is all true, but the GOP/Dems care about optics because (sadly) that matters more than substance in a country where most people can't name the three branches of government or tell you who their local representatives are. If the GOP doesn't vote 'yes', then the talking point becomes "GOP won't give money to those in need! GOP wants people to die!". A variant of this narrative was used successfully (rightfully, in this case) against the Dems in 2020. It worked.
And I get it, our politicians should stand up for what's right and not be massive pussies, but without this hyper-focus on optics, the red wave in 2020 doesn't happen. And Hawley voting on this bill allows presidential hopefuls like Ted Cruz to vote against it.
Josh Hawley meant what he said. Fuck off with that. He pushed for stimulus and thinks this is all he is gonna get so he took it. One bad decision does not make him a sellout, it makes you a weak thinker.
Real conservatives would never trade a payout for globalism. What a douche.
I dont disagree. What I will say is he has at least earned the opportunity to explain in greater detail.
His first explanation was horse shit, though I understand the sentiment.
Sad, thought he was a maga. Alas it turns out he’s a
COMPROMISED chinese RINO collaborator
he talks good game, his actions. I mean actually voting. I don’t remember him ever going against mitch.
because I like too
He has voted against Mitch many times, little would you know.
Well he didn't vote against him this time. Unless you are fine with goat fuckers getting $10m to figure out if they are raping girls, boys, or herms.

Why did he sign mike lee’s middle class replacement bill? This is strike 2 for Hawley.
Name a perfect politician while you're at it. I didn't pay too much attention to that bill so I'm not about to defend it, the same as I'm not defending this bill as a good choice either. Ya he was willing to sell us out for 600 bucks in the name of helping us?
Severely disappointed by him. I wont go as far as calling him compromised by China, but this was a dumb fuckin choice...
There is no excuse to vote yes on that thing.
If I'd have the responsibility to make laws, I not only want to know exactly I'd pass, but wanted to know all the possibilities of abuse and exceptions. Hell, I may need hours for just a few laws, and then propose improvements.

If someone votes for a bill they haven't read they need to be recalled
That's all it was. He is not a sellout.
anyone who voted for even 1% of the disgusting traitorous america last policy in this bill under the pretense that "it's okay to flush tax payer money down the toilet in this fashion because the $600 makes it worth it!" is a sellout and should be tried for treason.
Ok faggot.
yikes. fitting in is not your strong suite. Back to the gay corner of the internet you go.

Who the fuck suggested trying trump for treason? And "change it next time is a pathetic ring meme.
not a single one of these mo'fritters would, if presented with an inch thick contract, told they had 20 minutes to read it, then had to sign to commit to the terms of the contract, sign said contract. why did only SIX senators say NO! all that fucking virtue signaling on twatter, "it's 5000 pages and we've only got 3 hours to read it, wah!"....and not a one of them said, "no! this isn't right!"
Once that RINO stink gets on you, it never goes away. He torpedoed his credibility for...what?
I doubt he even read the bill.
Literally impossible, for anyone.
Why do they all criticize a bill they voted YES on? They act like they had a gun to their head or the voting options changed to KINDA YES/DEFINITELY YES, wtf happened to voting NO?
I had high hopes he was going to be better than McCaskill but we just swapped 1 for 1.
Absolutely not true... McCass. voted for every damn dumocrat agenda that was brought to her, and lied through her teeth when back in Missouri. Soft men.
SNAKES EVERYWHERE
So sad, I wrote our representatives this morning:
I am incredibly disappointed in many of the items in the Covid relief bill. Did you read a bill that’s four or five times longer than the Bible? How did you conclude this was a bill you could stand behind?
I’m even more disappointed that all my representatives from my great state of Missouri jumped on board. Do you have a plan to remove the wool from your eyes?
Merry Christmas,
I keep expecting these republicans that voted for this to come out and apologize and take a stand against it...getting pretty blue over here holding my breath, my vision is getting blurry to the point I can't make out my double crossed fingers in front of my face.
Don't forget the $57,000 raise congress gets
I used to be on the fence about this issue with a lot of my favorite senators and congressmen but fuck it, if you voted yes you're not only stupid, you're corrupt
He makes it very hard to write to him. You have to jump through hoops with addresses to prove you’re a constituent.
ONLY trust Trump. The Trump Dynasty is the only way to save America.
FUCK EVERYONE WHO SIGNED THE PORK BILL
WE SEE YOU TRAITORS OF AMERICA NOW
He's a preening mule pretending to be a stallion
Get fucked
He also voted for Mike Lee’s middle class replacement bill. Hawley is out. Truly disappointing.
He is in no way compromised. He has pushed hard for a stimulus and voted yes to get Americans money. That's literally it.
Pretty shitty shill if all I'm pushing is reality. I guess your goldfish attention span forgot that he was front page here literally yesterday or monday for demanding 1200 for stimulus checks, just to get shot down by the establishment, all the while pointing out how working people needed the money urgently, blasting these RINO's and commies for the pork they were pushing. i’ve gone from proud of my senators to looking forward to them hopefully getting pimaried
He's a junior senator looking to keep his committee spots, that's how I see it.
How the fuck csn you say with a straight face that $600 will give anyone “relief”? Give me a fucking break and stick that messily $600 up your ass..
Let's all beat up on every friend and ally we have, because it benefits the Democrats.
I sent an email to my rep and let him know that we dont want anymore limp wristed tactics. We want Fighters. This generation is different than before. False. He backs up what he says on a regular basis. Stop making entire character judgements from one shitty decision.
