NO FOREIGN AID. This is the 2nd busiest bridge in the US. It’s 57yrs old & carries 170,000 vehicles/day, almost double its design capacity. It’s been awaiting replacement for years but Feds claimed there was no funding. It just reopened after nearly being destroyed by fire 40 days ago. (media.patriots.win)

That is a pretty similar description of the I-5 bridge between Washington and Oregon. They have been talking about replacing it for decades now. The feds even gave the states millions to do "studies" on what's needed to get it done. Still no new bridge.
