We are more tired of people using those award shows to amp up the validity of these court jesters and giving them yet another platform to crap on ACTUAL people than anything.
I think the point is to have an alternative to MSM and hollywood. Give awards to conservative publications, instead of the shameless selfsucking that is the oscars.

Personally, I think the awards are secondary, focus on making the shows and newspapers first.
