I've been through a lot of election cycles. Too often the choice we're presented with is "bad" or "worse". Even this most recent cycle there was one national race where I voted for "bad" to avoid ending up with "worse".

I'd rather not vote for "bad", but "good, better or best" are SO rarely on the ballot.
